Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment:
- Only candidates who have worked in the above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
- Selected candidates will draw their salary according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled to any kind of gratuity or pension.
- The contract period is one year and may be extended for another year if required by Pakistan Railways.
- The competent authority has the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
- The number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
- Selected candidates will be required to pass a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
- Candidates who were retired compulsorily, removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds will not be eligible for appointment.
- Call letters will only be issued to candidates eligible for contract appointments.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interviews and medical examinations.
- Selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

- All educational certificates
- National Identity Card (Computerized)
- Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
- Photocopy of PPO
- Photocopy of LPC
- Service Certificate
- Three (03) fresh passport-size photographs
- Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAD card) and complete address with Cell No. written thereon
- Experience certificate of a renowned organization
