How to Apply for the Latest VU Jobs
- Age Limit: The retirement age is 60 years.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Applicants currently working in government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies must submit a NOC from their current employer at the time of the interview or earlier.
- Experience Requirements: Part-time, honorary, visiting, apprenticeship, freelancing, and internee experience will not be counted as experience. Only experience letters issued by the respective HR/Registrar Department will be accepted.
- Shortlisting: Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be contacted individually for an interview.
- Application Process: Interested applicants should apply online at VU Job Opportunities. It is mandatory to fill in all relevant information on the online job application form. No hard copy of the application will be accepted.
- Foreign Degrees: Candidates with foreign degrees must submit an equivalence certificate issued by HEC – Islamabad at the time of the interview.
- Application Fee:
- Rs. 3000/- (non-refundable) for Pay Scale E-III
- Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) for Pay Scale J-II, This fee should be paid before the closing date or at the time of submission of the online job application via the challan form available on the website.
- Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post.
- Complete Information: Applications with incomplete or fake information, or without the application processing fee, will not be entertained.
- Affidavit: Candidates must sign an affidavit at the time of the interview stating that they are not dual nationals and will not hold dual jobs if selected.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate signed and stamped by a Medical Superintendent (MS) of any Civil/Government Hospital at the time of joining.
- Eligibility and Information Verification: Any deficiencies in eligibility or provision of fake/incomplete information will result in immediate cancellation of the candidature or termination of employment at any stage.
- Application Completion: Your application will not be considered submitted until you complete all mandatory fields and click the SUBMIT button at the last step.
- Posting Location: Selected candidates may be posted at any campus/office of Virtual University anywhere in Pakistan.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
- Tax Deductions: Applicable taxes will be deducted from the monthly salary as per the rules.
- Right to Reject: Virtual University of Pakistan reserves the right to reject any or all applications at any stage without assigning any reason.
